accommodation options

if you’re in the traumatic situation of living with the perpetrator of your violence & abuse, there can be options surrounding accommodation that can be explored - you deserve to feel safe in the place you call home.

before you reach out

make a note of what you want to talk about. you can explain the situation in as much or as little detail as you feel comfortable with

this will ensure that you don’t miss out anything important and will help make talking to someone that bit easier

talk to your university

look at our section

on ‘after sexual violence & abuse for some

advice on how to build your case,

but don’t worry if it's already too late to do these things; the university

should still support you and

take your experience

seriously.

they may be able to help you move and, if the perpetrator is a student at the university, they should take action against them accordingly.

have a look on your university’s and union’s websites to see what support they offer and to find the appropriate contact
